Job summary

AVENTA seeks a Site Engineer to support outfitting works across Vlissingen and Schiedam yards, with occasional Brussels office presence. You will coordinate electromechanical activities and act as SPOC for engineering queries, ensuring design compliance on site.

The role requires strong safety and quality focus, multiyard coordination, and excellent communication with construction and engineering teams in English. Travel across sites is required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Site/construction engineering experience on substation or heavy electromechanical/industrial projects.
• Able to act as SPOC between construction and engineering to resolve queries.
• Strong focus on site safety and quality.
• English language required; Dutch or French an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide site engineering across both construction yards (Vlissingen and Schiedam) and the Brussels office.
• Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for engineering queries, mainly electromechanical, aligning with the Engineering team.
• Follow up outfitting and construction works against the design and resolve technical queries on site.
