Job summary

Prodrive Technologies in Eindhoven is seeking an Electrical Safety Engineer – Test Systems to design and improve electrical safety for production and test systems. You will develop circuits to safely disable hazardous voltages during Device Under Test handling and access, and translate safety standards into practical designs.

You will work with software and mechanical engineers in a high-tech manufacturing environment to ensure safe, reliable and maintainable equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• At least two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical schematics and safety functions for production and test systems.
• Develop solutions to safely disable hazardous voltages.
• Define grounding, protective earth and earth bonding concepts.
• Perform and support electrical risk assessments.
• Apply electrical safety standards and directives in practical designs.
• Review and improve existing test systems.
• Support verification, validation and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and production stakeholders.
