Job summary

ROSS is seeking a Quality Lead with an electrical bias to own the electrical discipline on a major hyperscale data centre project in the Netherlands. You will lead the on-site quality team, ensure client requirements are met, and coordinate with the PMC on quality matters.

The role demands hands-on QA/QC leadership, BIM issue management, and close collaboration with subcontractors. Ideally you bring 3+ years QA/QC for data centre or mission‑critical builds, along with experience directing

Qualifications

• Electrical background/MEP with ownership of electrical discipline on-site.
• 3+ years QA/QC on data centre, mission critical, semiconductor or pharma projects.
• Benchmarks, tag checklists, QCx docs and BIM issue management on live site.
• Direct experience with a PMC or client quality team at inspections and witness points.
• Experience leading quality inspectors or readiness to step up.
• Knowledge of CxAlloy, Facility Grid, Procore or ACC.
• VCA clearance (VOL-VCA) or willingness to obtain before mobilising.
• Right to work in the EU.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical quality discipline and lead the quality inspection team.
• Ensure project Quality Plan and client requirements are followed on site.
• Hold subcontractors to benchmarks, checklists and BIM issue management.
• Provide quality status reports on benchmarks, QCx documentation and BIM issues.
• Manage BIM issues to a 20-day close-out target and review tags for assets.
• Provide technical support to project team on NCRs and issue resolution.
• Drive systems handover and project completion on a system-by-system basis.

Quality Lead (Electrical/MEP) — Hyperscale Data Centre | Netherlands

We're hiring a Quality Lead with an electrical bias for a major hyperscale data centre build in the Netherlands, working with an International Engineering General Contractor.

This is the lead seat on electrical quality. You'll own the discipline, lead the quality inspection team, and be the point of contact for the PMC on everything electrical quality-related.

The role

• Making sure the project Quality Plan and client requirements are followed on the ground
• Holding subcontractors to the requirements: benchmarks, checklist completion, QCx records, BIM issue management and inspection planning
• Benchmark completion and approvals
• Leading and managing the quality inspection team
• Routine surveillance and monitoring of the construction works
• Point of contact for the PMC on all discipline quality matters
• Quality status reporting on benchmarks, QCx documentation, tags and BIM issues
• Managing BIM issues to a 20-day close-out target
• Tag checklist completion for assets and review of the QCx documentation behind them
• Technical support to the project team on issue resolution and NCRs
• Equipment storage and protection inspections
• Driving systems handover and project completion, system by system

What we're looking for

• Electrical background/MEP — qualified electrician or electrical engineer, or strong hands-on quality ownership of electrical packages (MV/LV switchgear, UPS, busway, generators, power distribution)
• 3+ years QA/QC on data centre, mission critical, semiconductor or pharma projects
• Benchmarks, tag checklists, QCx documentation and BIM issue management on a live site
• Dealt directly with a PMC or client quality team at inspections and witness points
• Experience leading quality inspectors, or ready to step up
• CxAlloy, Facility Grid, Procore or ACC
• VCA (VOL-VCA) or willing to get it before mobilising
• Right to work in the EU

Hyperscale experience is a big plus, as is time with an M&E or electrical contractor.
