Job description

Job Description: Independently assembles and modifies cables, wiring harnesses, and electrical components based on electrical diagrams in vehicles and/or at the pre-assembly department. Checks and measures work to ensure compliance with intended functions and works within set quality requirements to prevent failures.

The following requirements apply:

1. Collects materials according to the production order.
2. Works independently following electrical schematic drawings, drawing packages, and production orders.
3. Observes operating, installation, and safety regulations.
4. Handles standard and customer-specific (special) installations.
5. Assembles cables, wiring harnesses, and electrical components in touring cars or public transport buses based on electrical diagrams and production instructions.
6. Independently adjusts cables and electrical components on panels according to electrical schemes.
7. Assembles connectors, resistors, and other electrical components.
8. Crimps connections using proper tools.
9. Ensures assembly meets quality standards for trouble-free operation.
10. Is trained according to NEN9140 to assemble high voltage components on vehicles that are not live.
11. Checks work against checklists and measures functions using a multimeter.
12. Ensures quality assurance of own products.
13. Contributes to safety and process improvements.
14. Completes checklists, updates drawings, and bill of materials.
15. Works independently under the guidance of the Team Leader, receiving instructions and escalating issues when necessary.
16. Provides electrical diagrams and instructions for training.
17. Complies with quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental standards.
