Introduction

You assemble, connect, check, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure that every component is exactly right. As an Assembly Mechanic for Internal Assembly, you work on large technical products that play a crucial role in tomorrow's energy supply. Organization

This organization is active in transformer technology and manufactures power transformers and secondary installations that are important for the energy supply of the future. From a modern production facility in Nijmegen, various departments work together on technically high-quality products.

You will be working in the Internal Assembly department. Here, the active part of the transformer is built. Within this department, it is all about craftsmanship, precision, and collaboration. Together with colleagues, engineering, and technical specialists, you ensure that the internal work meets the correct quality standards before it is released to the next department.

Function

As an Assembly Mechanic for Internal Work Assembly, you are responsible for assembling the complete internal work of transformers. The focus is primarily on the electrical part. You place winding sets over the core, close the core with sheet metal plates, and assemble the core into a sturdy construction with steel bandages.

You also connect electrical cabling and make connections with switches, bushings, and other electrical conductors. During the work, you perform quality checks together with your team, engineering, and technical specialists. Only when everything has been properly checked is the internal work released for the next step in the production process.

You work a three-shift roster, meaning no two workdays are the same. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for a smooth and safe assembly process.
