Job summary

Arup in Amsterdam seeks an Electrical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary MEP team. You will lead electrical design packages for medium to large projects, including power, lighting, distribution, fire detection and evacuation systems, while ensuring quality, deadlines and budget control.

You will translate concepts into detailed designs and supervise execution, guiding junior staff and collaborating with stakeholders across disciplines in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education (Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering) at HBO level or higher.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrable experience in electrical engineering through project references of varying size and market segments.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design and contract documentation and specifications.
• Design electrical services and installations for complex building projects across sectors.
• Present projects and design solutions to clients and partners.
• Be part of a multi-disciplinary team.
