Job summary

LeydenJar Technologies in Eindhoven seeks an experienced Maintenance & Equipment Electrical Engineer to support the first silicon anode plant. You will oversee installation oversight of electrical systems, utilities, safety and power distribution, and drive improvements for reliability and safety.

You will ensure compliance with Dutch regulations, lead VINZ and corrective maintenance, and collaborate with production and project teams to optimize performance in a fast-paced scale-up environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in an industrial environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical, installation and safety regulations.
  • Strong understanding of electrical design and logics.
  • Knowledge on PLC programming (OT).
  • Electrical drawings, P&IDs, and process flow diagrams knowledge.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
  • An industrial partner network in Eindhoven region.

Responsibilities

  • Involved in the Plant One start-up phase, where utilities are made operational and machines are assembled and commissioned.
  • Work with production to perform continuous improvement projects and learn the processes.
  • Ensure electrical installation complies with Dutch regulations (e.g., NEN3140, Scope 8).
  • Maximise vacuum deposition equipment uptime via preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve uptime, reliability, and process performance.
  • Maintain and improve technical documentation, procedures, and safety systems.
  • Build and manage a spare parts strategy and safety stock for uninterrupted operation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on maintenance and improvement plans.
  • Manage maintenance contracts and vendors.
  • Oversee plant-wide utility performance (HVAC, compressed air, process gases).
  • Support future factory construction and engineering projects with equipment and infrastructure input.
