Job summary

Vanderlande Industries B.V. in Veghel, Netherlands, seeks an Electrical Project Engineer to lead the complete electrical design for upgrade, modification and renewal projects within material handling systems.

You will design power distribution, create BOMs, develop control diagrams with Industrial Ethernet and AS‑i, and deliver enclosure and wiring designs, collaborating with customers and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Vocational/MBO or HTS/HBO in Electrical Engineering.
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and CAD tools such as EPLAN and AutoCAD.
Knowledge of power distribution systems and network architectures (PROFIBUS, AS‑i, Industrial Ethernet).
Familiarity with IEC/ISO norms and Functional Safety (Performance levels).
Strong communication in English; able to work independently in a multidisciplinary team; willing to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

Deliver complete electrical design scope for RMR projects including upgrades and modifications to customers’ material handling systems.
Design power distribution architectures and prepare bills of materials for electrical components.
Create control diagrams using Industrial Ethernet and AS‑Interface (AS‑i).
Produce enclosure and wiring designs with cable specs and circuit layouts.
Create installation drawings and assembly instructions for on-site execution.
Support commissioning with structured checklists from initial electrical connection to final I/O testing.
Utilize CAD tools (AutoCAD, EPLAN) and contribute to engineering tools and workflows improvement.
