Job summary

Konnektus bv. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to contribute to offshore and onshore oil & gas projects.

Design and specify electrical systems, equipment, and components, and ensure compliance with IEC/IEEE/ATEX standards and safety regulations. The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in oil & gas, offshore, or energy sector.
• Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, ATEX standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify electrical systems, equipment, and components for offshore and onshore facilities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and safety regulations.
• Provide technical support during project execution, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Conduct calculations, prepare documentation, and review drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including process, mechanical, instrumentation, and project engineers.
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and propose technical improvements.
