Job summary

Qabird is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer based in Den Haag, Netherlands. The ideal candidate will have 8-15 years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in offshore HVDC/HVAC platforms. This role requires strong project coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple complex engineering tasks.

Responsibilities include overseeing design tasks, preparing engineering documentation, and managing site support for electrical equipment. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is essential, and a Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years of detailed electrical engineering experience, preferably in offshore HVDC/HVAC.
• Intermediate experience with design techniques and integration standards.
• Project coordination skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform conceptual, FEED, studies, and detailed analyses as per project specifications.
• Prepare detailed design calculations and analyses including design reports.
• Lead project development and coordination as the electrical project lead.
• Manage site support including technical issues and pre-commissioning.
