Job Title: Wire Harness Bundle Engineer

Location: Eindhoven | Full-time | Automotive Sector (Must reside in the Netherlands)

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Wire Harness Bundle Engineer to join our innovative automotive team based in Eindhoven. You will contribute to the future of mobility, including Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), Hybrid, and Hydrogen-powered trucks. This role is ideal for engineers with a strong background in automotive electrical systems, including both Low and High Voltage wiring.

Your Key Responsibilities

Primary – Bundle Engineering:

• Work within a Simultaneous Engineering (SE) team that includes Product Development, Production Engineering, and Purchasing.
• Develop and coordinate optimal wire harness routing.
• Manage interfaces and supports with installation teams.
• Responsible for prototype and production releases of electrical components.
• Deliver robust design solutions that meet targets for reliability, manufacturability, cost, and weight.

Secondary – Harness Engineering:

• Collaborate with system owners, schematic engineers, and fellow bundle engineers to create vehicle schematics.
• Manage electrical changes and updates effectively.

Additional Tasks:

• Organize and participate in SE team meetings to support development processes.
• Create 3D CAD harness routings using NX and manage data in Teamcenter.
• Produce schematics and product drawings using Saber software.
• Initiate and monitor relevant validation tests.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• Proven experience in Automotive Electrical Installation.
• Experience with both High Voltage and Low Voltage systems in electric vehicles is a strong plus.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); Dutch or German is a plus.
• You must currently reside in the Netherlands.
