Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for its Veghel location, responsible for the complete electrical design of material handling systems. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Electrical Engineering and strong skills in CAD tools such as EPLAN and AutoCAD.

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from €4,400 to €5,500 per month, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including 40 vacation days, hybrid work, and a health & wellbeing budget.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the complete electrical design for our material handling systems.
• Design power distribution and prepare the bill of materials for all electrical components.
• Produce control diagrams using advanced network technologies (Industrial Ethernet, AS-i bus).
• Deliver design and drawing sets for electrical enclosures and cabling specifications.
• Create installation drawings and assembly instructions; ensure clarity for installers.
• Support commissioning with detailed checklists from first connection to final I/O testing.
• Utilize advanced CAD tools (AutoCAD, EPLAN) and contribute to engineering tool development.

What do we ask from you?

• Vocational education (MTS/MBO-4) or Bachelor (HTS/HBO) degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices combined with solid skills in CAD tools such as EPLAN and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of power distribution systems and network architecture (PROFIBUS, AS-i bus, Industrial Ethernet)
• Good command of English (Dutch preferred) and ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
