Job summary

Mercury seeks an Electrical Construction Manager in Groningen to lead site activities, coordinate with project teams and supply chains, and ensure safety and quality on complex electrical/mechanical projects. You will drive schedules, manage resources, and maintain strong communication with stakeholders.

You will have 5+ years in leadership within electrical construction, hold a trade qualification, and be able to travel as required.

Qualifications

5+ years experience in a supervisory role.
Experience working for an electrical/mechanical contractor.
Proven track record coordinating and managing projects.
Trade qualification required.
Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Fluent English.
Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the project management and delivery team to achieve EHS, QAQC, scheduling and commercial KPIs.
Ensure supply chain partners understand and align with project expectations.
Make sure work locations are prepared and RAMS/SPAs are followed.
Attend and participate in planning, Last Planner, DABS and daily whiteboard meetings.
Enforce COHE procedures with partners in the supply chain.
Oversee installation, maintenance and use of electrical systems on site.
Monitor resources and address shortfalls with supply chain partners.
Contribute input for baseline and target schedules and delivery storyboards.
Provide accurate weekly progress updates and forecasts to the site planning team.
Work with the Electrical Project Manager to implement Bringing Quality 2 Life on site.
