Job summary

Salute, a leading provider of mission-critical data centre infrastructure services, is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support our Dutch operations and broader EU portfolio. Based in the Netherlands, this hybrid role involves regular travel across the EU to audits, site visits and improvements.

You will conduct risk assessments, support RI&E, ensure compliance with Arbowet and ISO 45001/45003, promote safety culture, manage incidents, and deliver EHS training and emergency

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in an EHS advisory or officer role.
• Experience with Arbowet, RI&E, and contractor safety management.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the EU.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• ISO 45001 / ISO 45003 knowledge or implementation experience.
• First Aid and Fire Marshal certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct task-based risk assessments and support the RI&E process.
• Ensure compliance with Dutch EHS legislation and client requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture across employees, vendors, and contractors.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of EHS management systems (ISO 45001/45003).
• Investigate incidents and document corrective actions.
• Maintain records of incidents, actions, and follow-up.
• Perform site inspections in live data centre environments.
• Deliver EHS training and toolbox talks.
• Coordinate emergency drills and ensure first aid and fire safety arrangements.
