Job summary

M. Restart is seeking a Technical Superintendent Electrical & Instrumentation for our client in the offshore transport and installation sector.

You will oversee E&I systems across a small fleet of vessels, coordinating maintenance, upgrades and safety compliance from shore with vessel crews, equipment managers and yards. The role requires a vocational or bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, at least two years’ experience in electrical engineering, and hands-on maritime E&I installations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or equivalent in electrical engineering and hands-on experience in electrical engineering.
  • Experience with maritime E&I installations and equipment management.
  • Good command of English and ability to work with crews, suppliers and yards.
  • Willingness to travel to vessels, yards and suppliers as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate E&I maintenance, repairs and upgrades across multiple vessels.
  • Identify technical risks and translate them into practical solutions and projects.
  • Collaborate with vessel crews, Equipment Managers and technical specialists to ensure safe, reliable operations.
  • Support engineering, commissioning and testing activities with suppliers and yards.
  • Take ownership of technical challenges from start to finish with safety, quality and cost considerations.
