Job summary

Allseas in Delft is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for Electrical & Instrumentation and Control Automation Monitoring to lead work packages, coordinate preparation and execution, and ensure safety, cost, and quality targets are met.

You will work with the Systems Department, manage subcontractors, and report to Senior Project Managers. A 5–10 year oil and gas background, a degree in Electrical Engineering, and willingness to travel are preferred.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems and Control or equivalent.
• Training in HSE Management, Project Management, Negotiating and Contract management preferred.
• 5–10 years' experience, preferably in oil and gas.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• On-board and on-site work preparations (subcontractor management).
• Subcontracting and procurement related to E&I/CAM (Requisitions, Purchase Orders, contracts).
• Direct contact with suppliers and subcontractors for equipment, materials and services.
• Monitor internal disciplines and control subcontractors to meet objectives.
• Identify and implement process and administrative optimisations for project teams.
• Ensure outstanding project safety performance.
• Support cost reporting for projects.
• Act on behalf of the (Senior) Project Manager when authorised.
