Job summary

Allseas Group S.A. is seeking an Installation Engineer to maintain and repair electrical systems on fieldjoint coating equipment aboard vessels and at yards.

You will support qualification campaigns, troubleshoot faults, and assist with testing and commissioning before mobilization, while contributing to vessel refits and upgrades; a safety-focused, collaborative team environment with extensive training and career progression.

Qualifications

• MBO Level 4 diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Technology, Marine Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
• Relevant electrical experience in maritime, offshore, industrial, or shipbuilding environments.
• Knowledge of PLC programming is an advantage.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Proactive, hands-on approach to solving technical problems.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair electrical systems on fieldjoint coating equipment.
• Support coating qualification campaigns by isolating, reconnecting, testing and commissioning electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical components and control systems during yard activities and on projects/vessels.
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedules and work instructions.
• Assist with testing and commissioning before mobilization.
• Support vessel refits, upgrades and yard projects as assigned.
• Ensure accurate maintenance records and work reports.
• Maintain safe, organized working environment per HSE requirements.
