Job summary

ASML’s Pipeline Team within IT R&D Development Environment is offering an internship focused on improving dynamic test selection. You will work with developers to evaluate, improve, and visualize selection logic, enhancing testing efficiency for a large software engineering community.

The internship is a bachelor or master level role, lasting at least five months with 2–3 days on-site, starting February 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or related field.
• Experience programming in Python.
• Knowledge of software engineering principles and automated testing practices.
• Proactive, analytical, and able to work independently.
• Proficient in English and able to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Interest in software testing, optimization, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Extend and improve Python-based source-to-test matching functionality.
• Validate the accuracy of dynamically selected tests against code changes.
• Compare dynamic test selection with manually maintained test sets.
• Analyze strengths and limitations of dynamic vs. static test selection.
• Gather developer feedback and translate insights into improvements.
