Job summary

Qualifications

Fluent in Dutch (reading/writing) and English with a strong compliance focus.
At least 5 years of experience in customs or trade compliance.
Bachelor's degree in Customs or Supply Chain or equivalent.
Experience in liquids handling or tank storage is a plus.
Able to translate legislation into operational tasks and processes.
Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities.

Responsibilities

Provide dedicated support to the Customs Compliance Manager.
Act as SME for internal and external stakeholders on customs and trade compliance.
Manage Terminal Customs & Excise licenses and authorizations.
Identify process and IT improvement opportunities and translate into proposals.
Ensure full customs compliance and adherence to AEO requirements.
Deliver guidance on origin processes and regulatory changes.
Develop and maintain procedures and audit-ready controls.
Support daily operations with customs compliance expertise and training.
