Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch (reading/writing) and English with a strong compliance focus.
• At least 5 years of experience in customs or trade compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in Customs or Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Experience in liquids handling or tank storage is a plus.
• Able to translate legislation into operational tasks and processes.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated support to the Customs Compliance Manager.
• Act as SME for internal and external stakeholders on customs and trade compliance.
• Manage Terminal Customs & Excise licenses and authorizations.
• Identify process and IT improvement opportunities and translate into proposals.
• Ensure full customs compliance and adherence to AEO requirements.
• Deliver guidance on origin processes and regulatory changes.
• Develop and maintain procedures and audit-ready controls.
• Support daily operations with customs compliance expertise and training.
