The role focuses on supporting the Customs Compliance Manager, acting as SME for internal and external stakeholders, and managing licenses and authorizations related to customs and excise. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in customs/trade compliance, a relevant Bachelor's degree, and strong analytical skills.
We are seeking to hire a highly qualified and experienced professional to join our team at our terminal in the port of Rotterdam. The successful candidate must be proficient in Dutch speaking and reading and understanding to be able to perform activities related to customs.
Fluently Dutch, English Analytic, accurate and compliance focused Highly self-driven and proactive in handling responsibilities Effective interpersonal skills appropriate to the role Strong digital skills, working with multiple systems and applications, understanding of regulatory IT initiatives and requirements and ability to translate to business processes Interest in innovation, data analyses, understand AI ethics and the ability to use AI tools and integrate in work processes Ability to translate direction into operational tasks Goal oriented, Curious, Driven and Collaborative Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Customs and/or Supply chain, plus 5 years' experience Experience in Liquid Tank Storage is a plus.
