Job summary

Dow Jones Newswires seeks a Dutch Financial Translator to join its linguist team and ensure translation accuracy while monitoring auto-translation quality. The role focuses on EN→NL financial, business, and economic news with a strong emphasis on glossary-building and prompt engineering.

Located at our office in London, Brussels, or the Netherlands, the position offers a 3-day-per-week hybrid schedule. Initial fixed-term contract with potential to become permanent.

Qualifications

• Native-level Dutch with strong business etiquette understanding.
• Proven expertise in LQA and MTPE for automated outputs.
• Technical proficiency with CAT tools and terminology databases.
• Specialist knowledge of financial terms for EN→NL translation.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI/LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Background in fast-paced editorial environments preferred.
