Job summary

The Usual is seeking a Dishwasher to support our pantry and U Bar, keeping cookware and dining materials spotless and well-organized. You will help maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist in daily F&B setup, ensuring guests receive top-notch service in a vibrant design hotel.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English is essential, additional languages are a plus.
• Available on the weekends. Shift start times are flexible, with most shifts starting between 6:00 and 8:00, and some shifts starting between 15:00 and 17:00.
• Must have a heart for sustainability.
• You are legally allowed to work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Clean all cookware and dining materials to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and make sure that guests have the best service.
• Co-responsibility for mise en place and setup of the daily F&B offering.
• Keeping the pantry, kitchen tools, and floors clean and well-organized.
• Ensuring food items are well-stocked and presented with care.
• Completing mandatory HACCP checks and flagging concerns or improvement points

The role

We’re looking for a true dishwashing champion – someone who supports both our pantry and U Bar. Behind the scenes, you help our food shine by keeping the pantry and displays clean, organised, and well-stocked. You’re an all-rounder and a real team player, always ready to jump in wherever needed. Next to that, you'll be engaged in:

• Available on the weekends. Shift start times are flexible, with most shifts starting between 6:00 and 8:00, and some shifts starting between 15:00 and 17:00. This can vary based on operational needs;
• Must have a heart forsustainability;
• You are legally allowed to work in The Netherlands.
