Murray McIntosh in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced real estate lending originator to launch and build a Dutch bridging platform. The role focuses on front-end origination with deal-execution oversight for property-backed transactions typically €500,000+.

You will leverage an established network of borrowers and intermediaries, negotiate terms and help establish the lender’s Dutch market presence from the ground up. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

I'm working with an established European real estate lender that is preparing to launch a new bridging and short-term real estate finance proposition in the Netherlands. We are looking for an experienced originator to help establish the platform and build a significant pipeline of Dutch lending opportunities.

The role will focus on short-term property-backed transactions, typically €500,000+, and will suit someone with an existing network across property investors, developers, professional landlords, family offices, brokers and introducers.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Originating bridging and short-term real estate lending opportunities
• Building a repeatable pipeline of transactions
• Developing direct borrower and intermediary relationships
• Leading negotiations on pricing, structure and commercial terms
• Maintaining oversight of transactions from initial enquiry through to completion
• Helping establish the lender's brand and proposition within the Dutch market

Crucially, this is a front-end origination role with deal-execution oversight, rather than a combined origination and underwriting position. Dedicated underwriting support will sit alongside the successful individual.

We are looking for someone with:

• A strong track record in Dutch real estate lending
• An established borrower and/or intermediary network
• Experience originating property-backed transactions of €500,000+
• Strong commercial and credit judgement
• The ability to generate repeat transaction flow
• An entrepreneurial mindset and appetite to build a new platform
• Professional fluency in Dutch and English

Location: Netherlands, with Amsterdam likely to be the natural centre of the role.
