Job summary
Vinted seeks a Director of Product Design for the Frontend Technologies Domain in Amsterdam to elevate the global UI across tens of millions of members. You will collaborate with Engineering and Data Science to build foundational capabilities that balance developer velocity with a superb user experience.
You will lead a high-impact design organization, drive frontend quality and accessibility, and guide strategic decisions on priority and resources while shaping the product’s visual direction.
Qualifications
- Exceptional craft leadership with high end-to-end quality
- Experience leading design infrastructure, design systems at scale
- Track record of organizational change and evolving team structures
- Experience managing multiple teams or a domain and coaching staff
- Ability to articulate design and technical trade-offs to stakeholders
- Bonus: experience driving AI-enabled frontend development and design processes
Responsibilities
- Increase frontend delivery efficiency and quality (AI-enhanced development)
- Improve internal tool quality and delivery efficiency
- Ensure accessibility compliance of services
- Elevate impact and quality of Vinted UI
- Lead a high-performing, engaged team with informed priority setting and resourcing
