Job summary

Segway-Ninebot Europe is seeking a senior Regional CFO to lead the finance function across Europe, based in Amsterdam. You will oversee accounting, treasury, tax, and compliance while aligning regional goals with global corporate objectives.

Responsibilities include standardizing practices across subsidiaries, driving budgeting and SAP implementations, and partnering with commercial leaders to manage performance. Fluency in English and Mandarin, plus 10+ years in finance, are required.

Qualifications

• University degree required in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of finance experience in a similar environment.
• Experience in consumer electronics and/or mobility industry preferred.
• Familiarity with China, the Netherlands, and European tax regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

General Description

As the strategic leader overseeing financial operations across Europe, ensuring alignment between regional financial operations and global corporate objectives. The role oversees accounting management, tax management, treasury operations, compliance governance, and finance capability development across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Governance & Team Leadership

• Lead a pan-European finance team, fostering a culture of operational excellence through mentorship and KPI-driven performance management.
• Standardize accounting practices across subsidiaries while accommodating local GAAP/IFRS variations.
• Oversee accounting management, treasury operations, tax governance, and financial compliance across all European entities.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Mitigation

• Oversee preparation of financial statements under IFRS and local statutory requirements, ensuring timely submission to EU tax authorities (e.g., VAT, CIT, transfer pricing).
• Design robust internal control frameworks compliant with SOX standards, conducting quarterly risk assessments and coordinating external audits.

Strategic Financial Planning & Business Partnership

• Spearhead annual budgeting, integrating scenario planning for market fluctuation.
• Collaborate with commercial leaders on monthly business review and conduct closed-loop management of critical matters.
• Implement and optimize SAP and related systems in Europe, standardizing the management of master data and operating processes, promoting the use of AI tools in workflows.

Qualifications and Skills

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin), both written and spoken
• Minimum 10 years of finance experience in a similar environment
• Ideally, experience within the consumer electronics and/or mobility industry
• Familiarity with accounting standards and tax regulations in China, the Netherlands, and Europe
• Experience in finance capability building, organizational development, and process improvement
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strategic thinker with the ability to lead complex projects independently
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach
