Glass Lewis is seeking a Director of Research, ESG and Sustainability to lead ESG integration across regional research teams and oversee Controversy Alert processes. The role involves representing the region with clients and issuers, guiding policy execution, and mentoring staff to uphold global stewardship standards.

The position is permanent and hybrid, based in Amsterdam, requiring regular collaboration with global offices and senior stakeholders to align governance perspectives with market

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 7+ years in corporate governance research.
• At least 2 years in a senior position.
• Fluency in English; multilingualism a bonus.
• Proven ability to mentor and coach.
• Strong knowledge of governance principles, regulatory frameworks and trends.
• Mastery of Glass Lewis voting policies locally and globally.
• Excellent time-management, problem-solving and people skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and business writing and presentation skills.
• Experience engaging with issuers, investors and institutions; MS Office proficiency.
