Job summary

Gi Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations in the Amsterdam area, including Hoofddorp & Schiphol zones. The role focuses on leading a team, ensuring procedures are followed, and driving KPI achievement while maintaining high safety standards.

Key aspects include coordinating labor planning, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations in a dynamic, international setting.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years (Medior) or 5-6 years (senior) of warehouse experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Team Leader or Supervisory experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the efficient operation and labor based on forecasts and DL targets.
• Document and ensure adherence to procedures; monitor KPIs and quality metrics.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to staff; conduct HR cycle conversations and training needs.
• Identify and implement process improvements to safety, efficiencies, and overall process management.
• Liaise with other operational departments to ensure smooth workflow and maximum synergy.
• Ensure 5S, QEHS and compliance with safety regulations.
