Job summary

Gi Group United Kingdom is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for the Amsterdam area. You will oversee the warehouse operation, manage a team, and ensure procedures are documented and followed to meet forecasts and DL targets.

The role involves planning labor, monitoring KPIs, quality standards, and leading employee development, process improvements, and safety and environmental compliance. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 6:30–15:30 and 14:00–23:00.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years (Medior) or 5-6 years (senior) of warehouse experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Familiarity with WMS and ERP systems; proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations: Coordinate the efficient operation and labor based on forecasts and DL targets.
• Procedure and Quality Assurance: Document and ensure adherence to procedures. Monitor and ensure accurate completion of KPIs, Quality Metrics, and timecard exceptions.
• Leadership and Employee Development: Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to staff, HR cycle conversations, and identify training needs.
• Process Improvement and Efficiency: Address opportunities for improvement in safety, efficiencies, and overall process management; advise management.
• Interdepartmental Liaison: Liaise with all operational departments to ensure smooth workflow and maximum synergy.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure 5S, QEHS and safety regulations are followed.

Warehouse Supervisor – Amsterdam area – between € 3.171,82-€ 4.585,- gross per month based on 40 hours.

The Warehouse Supervisor role is available in Hoofddorp & Schiphol area. You will responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the warehouse department, managing a team employees. This role involves ensuring procedures are documented and followed, planning and coordinating labor, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and maintaining quality standards. You will also play a crucial role in leadership, employee development, process improvement, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 6:30 to 15:30 and 14:00 to 23:00 hours

• Salary depending on experience: €3.171,82 to € 4.585,71 gross per month based on 40 hours

What will you do?

• Process Improvement and Efficiency: Address opportunities for improvement in safety, efficiencies, and overall process management. Advise management on efficiency, effectiveness, and process management.
• Interdepartmental Liaison: Liaise with all operational departments to ensure smooth workflow and maximum synergy.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure 5S ,QEHS, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Log and chase IT tickets to resolve issues: Handle back-up planning for all key positions and replace the direct manager during their absence.

Who are you?

• 2-3 years (Medior) or 5-6 years (senior) of warehouse experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management. Team Leader or Supervisory experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Proficiency in using MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
