Job summary

Komori in Utrecht, The Netherlands, seeks a Digital Application Specialist to bridge sales, service and production in an international setting. You translate customer needs into practical, commercial solutions for digital sheetfed printing.

You will qualify opportunities, demonstrate tailored showroom solutions, assist installations, troubleshoot ramp-up issues, and feed insights to product management while traveling 40–50% across Europe.

Qualifications

  • Experience with industrial digital sheetfed printing (UV inkjet B2+ is a strong advantage).
  • Background in application support, print instruction or technical pre-sales.
  • Solid understanding of workflow integration, color management and production processes.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to operate at different levels within customer organizations.
  • Structured, self-driven and capable of building processes in a developing business environment.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 40–50%).
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written); German, French or Italian is an advantage.

  • Travel to customer sites, exhibitions and internal locations across Europe.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Application Specialist - Pre & Post Sales to join our Service team in Utrecht, The Netherlands.

Who are you?

We are looking for a hands-on and customer-focused digital printing specialist who thrives in a dynamic, international environment. This is a versatile role where you act as the key link between customers, sales, service, showroom and factory.

You have a strong technical and application background within industrial digital printing and understand how to translate customer needs into practical and commercial solutions. You are equally comfortable on a production floor as in a customer meeting, and you bring structure, ownership and a proactive mindset to everything you do.

The main objective of this position is to support the development and success of Komori’s Digital Business Unit across Europe by providing application expertise throughout the full customer journey, from opportunity qualification to installation and optimization.

Your main tasks will include:

Contributing to the development of tools, processes and knowledge within the Digital Business Unit

You will work closely with colleagues across Europe and regularly travel to customer sites, exhibitions and internal locations.
