Job summary

TreeHouse in Rotterdam is looking for a DevOps engineer to join our small, fast‑moving teams. You will collaborate with two fellow DevOps engineers to support product teams and help scale our internal developer platform.

You'll automate infrastructure on Google Cloud, manage Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and contribute to secure, reliable deployments while staying curious and eager to learn.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer or similar role.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (Google Kubernetes Engine), Docker, GCP, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), Terraform, Linux (Ubuntu/Debian), Bash and at least one other scripting or programming language.
• Willingness to continuously expand your knowledge and expertise.

We are currently looking for a new DevOps engineer for our location in Rotterdam. Not easily convinced? We are pretty confident that we have a lot of exciting things to offer you so let us challenge your curiosity!

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with 2 DevOps engineers in your team, providing support to our product teams.
• Build and maintain the internal developer platform and standardized self‑service tools that allow our product teams to deploy and manage their own services with minimal friction.
• Optimize and automate our websites, platform, and the infrastructure that supports everything.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in AI, security and other DevOps‑related matters and assess whether the latest trends are relevant to our company.
• Improve our platform in the cloud (Google Cloud Platform), document our infrastructure as code using Terraform, and provide insights into our Kubernetes cluster.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer or a similar role (such as Systems Engineer).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (Google Kubernetes Engine), Docker, GCP (Google Cloud Platform), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), Terraform, Linux (mainly Ubuntu/Debian), Bash and at least one other scripting or programming language.
• Willingness to continuously expand your knowledge and expertise.
