Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in the Netherlands offers a summer internship for students pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related fields. You will assist senior engineers with sustaining, analysing and improving semiconductor products, design experiments, collect data, and analyze results.

Collaboration with cross‑functional teams and clear technical reporting are key parts of the role, with English communication required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related technical field.
• Strong academic record and genuine interest in semiconductors, electronics, or embedded systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and in a team; strong English communication.

Job Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Analog, Logic, Power, and/or NVM devices is preferred.
• Basic understanding of device physics and semiconductor operation is preferred.
• Basic understanding of statistical process control and usage of statistics analysis software (Minitab, JMP, etc) is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a diverse and dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail.
