Job summary

A company in E-mobility is looking for a Development Lead to supervise project management and engineering teams. The successful candidate will enhance processes across R&D, ensure timely delivery of projects, and foster a safe working environment. Required qualifications include a degree, extensive leadership experience, and fluency in Dutch and English. This role is based in Noord-Brabant with a salary range of €4,000.00 – €5,500.00.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of team-leadership experience in larger teams (15+ FTE).

• Preferably relevant experience in a product-driven company.

About the role

The Development Lead is responsible for overseeing and guiding the teams that drive Project Management (NPI and LCM) and the engineering teams (Mechanics, Electronics, Software and Test) – 20+ FTE. This key role ensures we continue to optimise our way of working, improving organisational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuous improvement of processes across R&D, Project and Product Management to secure scalability.
• Ensure clear scenario planning and risk mitigation for on‑time delivery.
• Identify and develop strategic talent, and contribute to organisation‑wide decision‑making and cultural development as part of Peblar’s management team.
• Build relationships, understand group dynamics, and foster a safe, inclusive working environment.
• Lead change with flair and directness to reach Peblar’s full potential.
• Ensure key projects are executed on time, within budget, and aligned with stakeholders.
• Integrate an agile way of working for our software development.

Profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
