Job summary

Axiom Technologies in the Netherlands seeks an IT Support Technician to deliver 1st and 2nd line support for desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices. You will respond to requests via ticketing, phone, or in person, and help with onboarding of new staff.

You will install and maintain Windows, macOS and Linux OSs and software, configure new workstations, manage assets, and assist with onboarding and offboarding from a technical perspective.

Qualifications

• Provide first- and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Respond to service requests and incidents via ticketing system, phone, or in-person.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux) and software applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues (e.g., monitors, keyboards, docking stations).
• Set up and configure new employee workstations, including user accounts and permissions.
• Maintain asset inventory and ensure accurate documentation of IT equipment.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees from a technical perspective.
• Support remote users with VPN, remote desktop, and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with other IT teams on escalated issues and project-related tasks.
• Follow security protocols and assist with antivirus, patching, and data protection policies.
