Job summary

John Sisk & Son in Amsterdam is seeking a Design Manager to lead design coordination on allocated packages, ensuring buildable, compliant outputs aligned with client requirements and contracts. You will collaborate with project teams, consultants and suppliers to deliver integrated design solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management with 5–7 years of design coordination experience, strong regulatory knowledge and a proven ability to manage

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in design coordination or management roles.
• Knowledge of statutory compliance, design risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the production and delivery of design information to programme requirements.
• Coordinate inputs of consultants, subcontractors and suppliers for integrated design solutions.
• Develop and manage design programmes, deliverables and reporting.
• Resolve design queries and interface issues across disciplines.
• Review design documentation for accuracy, compliance with specifications.
• Monitor statutory requirements to ensure design outputs meet obligations.
• Record and communicate design risks and mitigate residual risks.
• Assist Senior Design Manager in reviews, workshops and client presentations.
