Novenda Technologies is looking for a bright and driven professional to join our material team, developing unique formulations for 3D multi-material jetting.

Novenda is a young company with a highly motivated and multi-disciplinary R&D team of physicists, material scientists, engineers, chemists, and software developers. Being part of this team will allow you to use your professional experience and knowledge, to develop new dental materials and work beyond your own expertise, while at the same time having a lot of fun!

Within the R&D team you play a vital role, bringing in your experience with dental materials and the dental market. Your work is crucial for product development. You will develop material jetting formulations based on new concepts that can achieve outstanding functional properties.

Your assignment

• Play a leading and inspiring role in the continued development and optimization of dental materials for Novenda’s multi-material, multi-color 3D printing technology;
• Leverage on your dental material expertise, and be co-founder of groundbreaking high performance multi-material jetting formulations;
• Collaborate closely with the commercial, regulatory and operations teams to push the frontiers of 3D printing in dentistry worldwide.

You will be based at Novenda’s material development laboratory at the Brightlands Chemelot Campus (Geleen) and you will work in close collaboration with the Novenda printer development team at the High Tech Campus (Eindhoven).

Key characteristics

• You are an expert in dental material development, preferably for 3D printing. Multiple (more than 5) years of experience in the dental field is a must.
• You have a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Material Science or similar.
• You have a strong and enthusiastic personality.
• You have experience in Design of Experiments (DoE) is a plus.
• Experience in the regulatory environment is preferred.
• You are an experienced professional (medior/senior) with hands on mentality.
• You are interested in working in a dynamic and challenging start-up environment.
• You are fluent in English (writing and speaking).
• You are flexible and a team player.
