Job summary

The Hoxton in Amsterdam is seeking a passionate Demi Chef de Partie to join Lotti's team. Reporting to the Head and Sous Chef, you will ensure quality and consistency across dishes and service in a vibrant, hospitality-driven setting.

You will work at Lotti’s, The Hoxton Amsterdam, a dynamic venue within an open-house hotel concept, with a focus on Latin-inspired flavours and bold seasonal dishes. Competitive salary, 25 days holiday, and ongoing development are on offer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year's work experience as Demi Chef de Partie or Commis in a hotel or restaurant with good standard.
• Great knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards are essential.
• Flexible: able to work varying shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the assigned station in a clean and orderly manner at all times.
• Follow standard recipes and minimize waste to keep food costs in line with budget.
• Work in the assigned station to ensure dishes are prepared according to standard.
• Ensure all utensils and equipment are maintained to maximize lifespan and capacity.
• Receive daily produce deliveries and check quality (weights and temperature).
• Prepare and close the kitchen to standard, including handover and setup.
