Job summary

Foot Locker seeks a Demand Planner in the Netherlands to connect forecasting with warehousing and supply chain planning. You will translate demand forecasts into actionable planning for warehouses and stores across Europe, ensuring high product availability.

You will develop and continuously improve forecasts, support S&OP processes, and analyze performance KPIs to optimize data quality and processes within a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, logistics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain planning, preferably in logistics or warehouse environments.
• Ability to manage and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Analytical mindset with hands-on approach and experience with large datasets (Excel, ERP/WMS).
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbal and written.

Overview

Our omni-channel distribution center in Haps plays an important role within Foot Locker’s European supply chain. As Demand Planner, you will connect data and forecasting with what happens on the warehouse floor, translating demand forecasts into practical actions for warehouse and supply chain planning.

Working closely with operational Supply Chain teams, you will help ensure that our network is prepared for changing demand while supporting our stores and Direct-to-Consumer operations across Europe.

In this role, you are responsible for developing and continuously improving demand forecasts and inventory planning. You will work closely with both operational and strategic teams to align demand and inventory levels effectively, ensuring high product availability. In addition, you will support the further development of the S&OP process by preparing and leading meetings and providing the necessary management information to support decision-making.

By analyzing performance KPIs, you will identify opportunities for improvement and translate data-driven insights into concrete actions. You will be responsible for maintaining data quality across systems and processes and actively contribute to their ongoing optimization. Furthermore, you will proactively identify operational bottlenecks and risks, enabling timely corrective actions to prevent disruptions within the supply chain.

• Comfortable working with large datasets (Excel, ERP/WMS systems; forecasting tools is a plus).
• Strong communication skills; able to collaborate across multiple departments.
• Proactive, structured, and solution oriented.
• Fluent in verbal and written communication in Dutch and English.
