Foot Locker in the Netherlands is seeking a Demand Planner to translate forecasts into actionable plans for warehouse and supply chain operations. You will work with operational and strategic teams to ensure product availability and optimize S&OP processes.

The role requires 3–5 years in demand planning or inventory planning, a strong analytical mindset, and fluency in Dutch and English. This hybrid position offers opportunities across Europe and supports growth within an international team.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of demand planning/inventory or supply chain planning in logistics/warehouse environment.
• Ability to manage and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (verbal and written).
• Proactive, structured, and solution oriented.

Overview

Our omni-channel distribution center in Haps plays an important role within Foot Locker’s European supply chain. As Demand Planner, you will connect data and forecasting with what happens on the warehouse floor, translating demand forecasts into practical actions for warehouse and supply chain planning.

Working closely with operational Supply Chain teams, you will help ensure that our network is prepared for changing demand while supporting our stores and Direct-to-Consumer operations across Europe.

In this role, you are responsible for developing and continuously improving demand forecasts and inventory planning. You will work closely with both operational and strategic teams to align demand and inventory levels effectively, ensuring high product availability. In addition, you will support the further development of the S&OP process by preparing and leading meetings and providing the necessary management information to support decision-making.

By analyzing performance KPIs, you will identify opportunities for improvement and translate data-driven insights into concrete actions. You will be responsible for maintaining data quality across systems and processes and actively contribute to their ongoing optimization. Furthermore, you will proactively identify operational bottlenecks and risks, enabling timely corrective actions to prevent disruptions within the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain planning, preferably within a logistics or warehouse environment.
• Ability to manage and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with hands-on attitude.
• Comfortable working with large datasets (Excel, ERP/WMS systems; forecasting tools is a plus).
• Strong communication skills; able to collaborate across multiple departments.
• Proactive, structured, and solution oriented.
• Fluent in verbal and written communication in Dutch and English.
