Job summary

Albert Heijn delivery service is seeking drivers to deliver groceries to homes from Utrecht. You’ll work on flexible shifts, start from Kanaaldijk 3, and handle loading crates and customer handoffs with a smile.

After 13 weeks, pay rises to €18.65 per hour gross, with opportunities for growth and a potential contract with Albert Heijn. Applicants should be physically fit, able to lift 15 kg, hold a B license (manual transmission), and have transport to the Utrecht location.

Who you are

As a driver at the delivery service, nothing beats the feeling of being out on the open road and brightening someone's day! To thrive in this role, you should be physically fit and comfortable lifting crates weighing up to fifteen kilos. In addition to that:

• You have transportation to get to Kanaaldijk 3 in Utrecht
• You speak Dutch or English (or both)
• You have a B driver’s license (stick shift)
• able to lift 15 kilo

What will you do

At the Albert Heijn delivery service, you’ll be the one hitting the pavement to bring fresh groceries straight to people's homes! Since you work independently, you have total control over which playlist is blasting through the speakers. Your shift always kicks off at Kanaaldijk 3, where your van is already packed and waiting for you. Once you’ve grabbed your keys and your route at the dispatch point, it’s time to get moving! At every stop, you simply load the right crates onto your trolley to keep the heavy lifting to a minimum. Then, you’ll greet your customers with a big smile and bring the shopping right to their front door. After a quick check to ensure the payment is settled, you’ll say your goodbyes and head off to the next happy customer!

• Flexible hours from 06:00–14:00 or 14:00–23:00. You’re available for both shifts
• You can work part-time or full-time from Monday to Sunday, with at least two Saturdays per month availability
