Job summary

Tempo-Team is assisting Albert Heijn with delivering groceries in Amersfoort. You will work independently and often chat with customers at their doors, staying composed on the road, and completing daily routes from city streets to smaller villages.

You start with a vehicle check, handle delivery routes, and can mentor new colleagues during onboarding or progress to senior driver. Shifts run 06:00–14:00 or 14:00–23:00, with options for part-time or full-time work across the week.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to lift crates up to 15 kg.
• Fluent in Dutch or English.
• Have a valid B driving license (manual).
• Have transport to Nijverheidsweg 73A in Amersfoort.

Responsibilities

• Check the van at the start of the day and pick up delivery routes.
• Deliver groceries to customers' doors across Amersfoort.
• Mentor new colleagues and potentially become a senior driver.

Who you are

As a delivery driver at Albert Heijn, you are the hero who delivers groceries right to the customer's door. You are physically fit and can easily lift crates up to 15 kilos. You recognize yourself in the following:

• You speak Dutch or English;
• You have transportation to get to Nijverheidsweg 73A in Amersfoort;
• You have a valid B driving license (stick shift).

What will you do

You start your day with a quick check of the van. After that you pick up your delivery routes of the day. Of you go! From city streets to hidden roads in small villages. As a driver for Albert Heijn in Amersfoort you never know what to expect. No worries, you keep it cool because you got well-prepared during your training period!
Besides delivering, there are also growth opportunities at Albert Heijn. Become a buddy and guide new colleagues during their first working days. Or take the step to become a senior driver, ensuring every driver is perfectly prepared for their route.

• Flexible hours from 06:00-14:00 or 14:00-23:00.
• You can work part-time or full-time from Monday to Sunday, with at least two Saturdays per month.

Where will you work

As an Albert Heijn driver, you work independently, but you're never alone. You meet lots of customers every day and share a friendly chat. Stuck on something? No worries! You can always call Planning & Support for help. At the end of your shift, your colleague will be there to assist you and discuss your day. You can also drop by the Tempo-Team office anytime. As an extra thank you for your hard work, there are regular tasty treats. And no stress. The distribution center in Amersfoort is easy to reach with your own transportation.
After 13 weeks of work, your salary increases to € 18,83 per hour! This includes 25 vacation days, holiday pay, ADV allowance, and a year-end bonus.
