Job summary

Albert Heijn is seeking delivery drivers to bring fresh groceries to customers’ doors across Utrecht. You’ll work independently, with your own van, choosing your shifts and playlist to keep you motivated.

Flexible hours run 06:00–14:00 or 14:00–23:00, with part-time or full-time options from Monday to Sunday. After 13 weeks, pay rises to €18.65/hour, plus travel allowance, a pension plan and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to lift crates weighing up to 15 kg.
• Have a B driver's license (manual) and transportation to Kanaaldijk 3, Utrecht.
• Fluent in Dutch or English (or both).

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh groceries to customers’ homes.
• Load crates onto a trolley and handle deliveries efficiently.
• Provide friendly service and ensure payments are settled at each stop.

Who you are

As a delivery driver, nothing beats the feeling of being out on the open road and brightening someone's day! To thrive in this role, you should be physically fit and comfortable lifting crates weighing up to fifteen kilos.

• You have transportation to get to Kanaaldijk 3 in Utrecht
• You speak Dutch or English (or both)
• You have a B driver's license (stick shift)
• able to lift 15 kilo

What will you do

As a delivery driver, you’ll be the one hitting the pavement to bring fresh groceries straight to people's homes! Since you work independently, you have total control over which playlist is blasting through the speakers. Your shift always kicks off at Kanaaldijk 3, where your van is already packed and waiting for you. Once you’ve grabbed your keys and your route at the dispatch point, it’s time to get moving! At every stop, you simply load the right crates onto your trolley to keep the heavy lifting to a minimum. Then, you’ll greet your customers with a big smile and bring the shopping right to their front door. After a quick check to ensure the payment is settled, you’ll say your goodbyes and head off to the next happy customer!

• Flexible hours from 06:00-14:00 or 14:00-23:00. You’re available for both shifts
• You can work part-time or full-time from Monday to Sunday, with at least two Saturdays per month availability
