Albert Heijn is looking for a delivery driver in Barendrecht to bring groceries to customers' doors, check payments, and follow the route from the Barendrecht location.

Who you are

You are a delivery driver at Albert Heijn who enjoys being on the road delivering groceries. Physical work is no problem for you. You can easily lift up to 15 kilograms. You also bring the following:

• A valid B driver’s license
• Knowledge of Dutch or English
• Your own private transport to reach our location at Ziedewij 36 in Barendrecht

What will you do

Your day starts as a delivery driver at Albert Heijn at the location in Barendrecht. Here, you pick up your van keys and route. Time to head to your first destination! At the location, you bring the groceries right to the customer’s doorstep. You’ll also check if the payment has been completed. Is everything okay? Then hop back into your van and drive to the next address! Finished delivering all the groceries? Then head back to the location to unload the van and return your equipment. Ready for more challenges or looking for more interaction with colleagues? You can grow into a buddy role to help train new drivers.

• Working days: Monday to Sunday, part-time or full-time
• Flexible shifts: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM (availability for both shifts is needed)

As a delivery driver at Albert Heijn, you make many customers happy with their groceries every day. After thirteen weeks, you’ll receive a pay raise to € 18,83 per hour. This includes 25 vacation days, holiday pay, ADV allowance, and a year-end bonus. Before your shift, you can enjoy a good cup of coffee at the location.
