Albert Heijn Online levert in Eindhoven. Als Delivery Driver verzorg je tijdige en veilige levering van online boodschappen aan klanten. Je bereidt de route voor, zoekt de juiste orders in de bus en levert bij de deur met aandacht voor klantvriendelijkheid.

Een fysieke functie met veel lopen en tillen, afwisseling tussen ochtenden en middagen en toegang tot training bij aanvang. Er is mogelijkheid tot parttime of fulltime werken.

Qualifications

• Geldig rijbewijs categorie B.
• Fysiek in staat om kratten te tillen en te dragen.
• Klantgerichte houding en vriendelijk handelen.
• In staat zelfstandig en verantwoordelijk te werken.
• Beheersing van Nederlands en/of Engels.

Responsibilities

• Rijdend afleveren van online bestellingen in Eindhoven en omgeving.
• Verzamelen van bestellingen, laden en lossen van kratten bij klanten.
• Interactie met klanten en zorgen voor correcte levering en handover.
• Controle van levering en terugbrengen van lege kratten naar de bus/werkplaats.
• Uitvoeren van routes en administratie volgens de planning.

Functieomschrijving Delivery Driver Albert Heijn Online | Eindhoven

As a delivery driver for Albert Heijn Online in Eindhoven, you make sure customers receive their online grocery orders safely and on time.

At the beginning of your shift, you prepare for your assigned route. You check what you need for the day, get into the delivery van and use navigation to drive to your first customer.

At each address, you select the correct order from the van and carry the grocery crates to the customer's front door. You provide friendly service and make sure the groceries are handed over carefully. If there are empty crates to return, you take these back with you.

Once everything is taken care of, you continue to the next customer.

Your working day is a combination of driving, physical activity and customer contact. You regularly get in and out of the van, walk to customers' doors and lift grocery crates. At the same time, you have plenty of independence while completing your route through Eindhoven and the surrounding area.

After your final delivery, you return to the location, complete your route and leave the van ready for the next shift.

Do I need previous experience as a delivery driver?

No. Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier or professional driver is not required.

When you start, you will receive practical training. During your first working days, you can join an experienced colleague and learn how the job works before completing routes independently.

What are the working hours?

There are two main shifts:

• Morning shift: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM.
• Afternoon/evening shift: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM.

Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available.

Do I need to work on Saturdays?

You do not have to work every Saturday. However, you must be available for at least two Saturdays per month.

This is a mandatory requirement for the position.

Is this a physically active job?

Yes. Driving is only one part of your working day.

You will regularly lift and carry grocery crates, walk between the delivery van and customers' doors and get in and out of the vehicle throughout your route. You therefore need to be physically able to perform these tasks safely.

Previous delivery experience is not required.
