Job summary

Consolid zoekt een Delivery Driver voor Albert Heijn Online in Breda. Je bezorgt boodschappen bij klanten, registreert leveringen en onderhoudt klantcontact, met afwisseling tussen rijdende en fysieke werkzaamheden.

Je werkt 12–32 uur per week, Shifts door de week en in het weekend, met ochtend-, middag- of avonddiensten. Er is training en begeleiding door een buddy, plus een inzet voor lange termijn en doorgroeimogelijkheden.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 18 jaar oud.
• Geldig rijbewijs B.
• Je spreekt Nederlands en/of Engels.
• Minimaal twee shifts per week beschikbaar.
• Minimaal twee zaterdagen per maand beschikbaar.
• Je bent vriendelijk en klantgericht.

Responsibilities

• Bezorg klanten in Breda en omgeving en zorg voor correcte levering.
• Pakken van sleutels, route en chauffeurcontrole vooraf.
• Scan van bestellingen met handheld scanner bij elke halte.
• Bij levering: begroet klant, overhandig bestelling en verleen indien nodig bijstand.
• Laad/uitpak en verplaats crates naar de deur; breng lege kratten retour.

Functieomschrijving Delivery Driver Albert Heijn Online | Breda

Your job is to make sure Albert Heijn Online customers in Breda and the surrounding area receive their groceries safely and correctly.

Before heading out, you collect the keys to your delivery van and check the route planned for your shift. Once everything is ready, you leave for your first address.

Throughout the day, navigation guides you from one customer to the next. At each stop, you select the correct order from the van and use a handheld scanner to check the groceries. You then carry the crates to the customer's front door.

A good delivery is also about service. You greet the customer, hand over the order and help if there are any questions. Depending on the delivery, you may process a payment or collect empty crates and returnable packaging.

Once the delivery is complete, you continue to your next stop.

This means your working day is not spent sitting behind the wheel. You regularly get in and out of the van, walk to customers' doors and carry grocery crates. Driving and physical activity naturally alternate throughout your shift.

After the final delivery, you return to the Breda location. You complete your route and leave the van ready for the next driver.

Can I apply without delivery experience?

Yes. Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver is not required.

An experienced buddy will guide you during your first working days. You will learn how to use the van, scanner and delivery systems and how to handle different situations at the customer's door.

How many hours can I work?

You can work between 12 and 32 hours per week and submit your availability.

Albert Heijn Online delivers seven days a week. For this position, you need to be available for at least two shifts per week and at least two Saturdays per month.

Is driving the only part of the job?

No. Driving is an important part of the position, but you will also be physically active and have regular contact with customers.

You scan orders, carry grocery crates to the door, collect empty crates and help customers when necessary.

Are there opportunities to grow?

Yes. After gaining experience, you may have the opportunity to become a buddy and help new delivery drivers learn the job.
