Consolid in Leiden zoekt een bezorger voor Albert Heijn Online. Je bezorgt online bestellingen bij klanten thuis in Leiden en rijdt met de bestelwagen, terwijl je vriendelijk service verleent en veiligheidsregels opvolgt.

Het werk omvat ochtend- en middag-avonddiensten, part-time en full-time opties, een fysiek actieve rol en mogelijke trainingen bij start. Vraag naar twee zaterdagen per maand en beheersing van NL/EN.

Qualifications

• Geldig rijbewijs B.
• Fysiek in staat om kratten te tillen.
• Klantvriendelijk en servicegericht.
• In staat zelfstandig te werken en verantwoordelijkheid te nemen.
• Voldoende beheersing van Nederlands en/of Engels.
• Beschikbaar voor de genoemde shifts.
• Beschikbaar voor minimaal twee zaterdagen per maand.

Responsibilities

• Bezorgt online bestellingen bij klanten thuis in Leiden.
• Bereidt de route voor en rijdt met de bestelwagen.
• Selecteert en draagt kratten naar de deur van de klant.
• Verwelkomt de klant en levert vriendelijke service.
• Zorgt voor veilig rijden en correcte afhandeling van bestellingen.
• Werk zelfstandig en neem verantwoordelijkheden tijdens de route.

Functieomschrijving Delivery Driver Albert Heijn Online | Leiden

As a delivery driver for Albert Heijn Online in Leiden, you make sure customers receive their online grocery orders at home.

At the start of your shift, you prepare for the route ahead. Once everything is ready, you get behind the wheel of the delivery van and head towards your first customer.

At each stop, you select the correct grocery order from the van and carry the crates to the customer's front door. You greet the customer, hand over the groceries and provide friendly service. If there are empty crates to return, you take these back with you.

Once the delivery is complete, you continue to the next address.

This is not a job where you spend your entire shift sitting behind the wheel. Throughout the day, you regularly get in and out of the van, walk to customers' homes and lift grocery crates. Driving, physical activity and customer contact are all part of the position.

You complete your route independently, which means you are responsible for driving safely and handling the orders carefully.

After your final delivery, you return to the location and complete your shift.

Can I apply without delivery experience?

Yes. Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier or professional driver is not required.

During your first working days, you can join an experienced colleague. This gives you the opportunity to learn the delivery process and become familiar with the job before completing routes independently.

What are the working hours?

There are two main shifts:

Morning shift: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
Afternoon/evening shift: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available.

Do I need to work every Saturday?

No. However, you must be available for at least two Saturdays per month. This is a mandatory requirement for the position.

Is this a physically active job?

Yes. In addition to driving, you will regularly carry grocery crates from the van to customers' doors.

You will also be getting in and out of the vehicle throughout your route, so you need to be physically able to perform these tasks safely.
