The role emphasizes drafting, negotiation, and leadership across a high-volume, fast-paced environment, reporting to the Head of Deal Desk with a global scope and no remote work option.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of legal experience, in house or at a law firm.
• Strong drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of complex commercial contracts.
• Solid understanding of contract law principles.
• Experience mentoring lawyers or other legal professionals.
• Commitment to building diverse teams and inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of high-caliber commercial lawyers who draft, review, and negotiate complex, multi-jurisdictional contracts.
• Provide strategic, business-oriented legal advice to senior stakeholders across procurement, partnerships, product, and regulatory teams globally.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for your team and drive risk-based decisions on legal issues.
• Drive legal automation efforts and process improvements to scale the team and increase efficiency in negotiations.
• Advise on contract interpretation, early-stage disputes, and other general commercial matters.
• Ensure global standards across the Deal Desk and train internal teams on vendor and partnership negotiations.
