Job summary

Leaseweb is hiring a Datacenter Operations Engineer in Haarlem to support our growing cloud infrastructure. You will deploy and maintain servers, perform Linux/Windows installations, and manage hardware updates.

You’ll work with cross‑team colleagues to resolve issues and ensure high availability for customers. You will coordinate with datacenter staff, document procedures, and assist with server provisioning and relocations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, or Supermicro preferred).
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with server building, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and customers.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts.
• Driver’s License and eligibility to work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain servers, racks, colocation, and other infra.
• Install Windows and Linux servers, including hardware and software config.
• Manage hardware/software updates for optimal performance.
• Handle server recovery, troubleshooting, and testing.
• Oversee hardware and spare parts replacements.
• Resolve tickets and collaborate with Level 1 support.
• Document client and company requirements in detail.
• Support provisioning and relocation of servers.
• Coordinate with datacenter teams for seamless ops.
