Job summary

Leaseweb is seeking a Datacenter Operations Engineer for the Haarlem day team to assemble, deliver and maintain datacenter infrastructure (hardware, software and connectivity) for internal and external clients. This role focuses on racks, cabling and hardware lifecycle to ensure high quality technical operations.

Candidates should have an IT background with datacenter experience, rack handling, good communication skills, and a basic knowledge of networking.

Qualifications

• IT background with datacenter experience and hardware knowledge.
• Experience with rack building, maintenance and cabling.
• Good communication across teams and customers.
• Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach.
• Basic networking knowledge is a plus.
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands and hold a valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain racks, colocation spaces and other critical infra.
• Manage hardware and software updates for optimal performance.
• Handle hardware recovery, troubleshooting and testing.
• Oversee hardware and spare parts replacements.
• Resolve support tickets and coordinate with Level 1 support.
• Document requirements and maintain records for clients.
• Support provisioning projects and coordinate with other teams.
