Job summary

Brivo, Inc. in Amsterdam seeks a Data Center Technician to help build, deploy, and maintain servers and storage systems within our global data center operations. You will install server and network equipment, troubleshoot hardware, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with server hardware, Linux familiarity, and the ability to travel internationally as needed. This is a full-time position offering growth in a high-paced, security-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Preferred prior experience in data centers or ISPs.
• Knowledge of server hardware components.
• Ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to organize copper, fiber, and power cables within racks.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a personal vehicle.
• Familiarity with Linux.

Responsibilities

• Install server and network equipment in data center environments.
• Assemble server and data storage components.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues.
• Maintain cables and organize equipment in racks.
• Coordinate with team members and drive tasks to completion.
• Perform routine maintenance and SOP improvements.
• Support data center expansion projects.
