Job summary

Bonairegov is seeking a Data Analyst for a 0.8 FTE role in the ICT unit on Bonaire. You will ensure data reliability, perform cleaning, migration and quality checks across systems to enable up-to-date dashboards and reporting.

You will contribute to the digitization of Bonaire from the ground up, working with IT and other departments. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in data work are required, with Dutch well, and Papiamentu knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, data quality and/or data migration.
• Experience in analyzing, cleaning and migrating datasets.
• Knowledge of data quality and metadata.
• Identify and analyze inconsistencies and errors in data.
• Work accurately with a structured approach and high quality focus.
• Strong analytical skills and collaboration with IT and users.

Responsibilities

• Ensure data is reliable, complete and usable for dashboards and reports.
• Analyze, clean and migrate data from multiple systems including JOIN.
• Monitor data quality and metadata; identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Lay the foundation for a reliable database supporting management information.
• Contribute to Bonaire’s digitization by cleaning, improving, migrating and analyzing data with IT and departments.
